Filipino emerging artist named Yumbassador
Art in the Philippines never sounded so tasty! When you hear the word “Yum” you usually think of food. But a Filipino fast food chain seems to have a different kind of “Yum” in mind. Launched in October this year, the Jollibee Yumbassadors is an effort of Jollibee Foods Corporation to give back to the food-loving Filipino community by means of youth empowerment emphasising Filipino individuality. And with the inclusion of Nasser Lubay in the Yumbassador roster of nine, it seems that the company views contemporary artists as particularly inspirational.

Twenty Slides in Twenty Seconds is all you’ll need at the IMMAP Open Mic Night.
Just how many words can one pack into 20 seconds? Find out the fun way! On Wednesday, November 10, the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) will stage the IMMAP Open Mic Night at Craft, the Fort Strip at 7PM.
As IMMAP’s version of the Japanese concoction that is Pecha Kucha Night, this pioneer event promises surprises at every chance.
Pecha Kucha — no, it is not gibberish—loosely means chitchat. This interesting, if not intriguing activity started in 2003 and is now a global activity held in over a hundred countries. In the Philippines, Pecha Kucha Night is a thriving annual event organized by agency creatives.

Closing the gaps at IMMAP Open Mic Night
The first IMMAP Open Mic Night proved that digital is a social, personal and even physical experience. Over 300 attendees from various fields and interests packed the floor of Craft Pub & Grill at the Fort Strip in Taguig City on November 10 for a night of talks, drinks and networking.
Open Mic Night grew out of the unconference, an informal speaker program open to all. Powered by the Pecha Kucha format, talks were presented in 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each. Speakers were nominated and chosen through online voting.
Being an event of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines, digital was inevitably a major focus of the night's talks, but marketing was not the only topic tackled by the 16 speakers, who each downed a shot before their respective talks. “Digital is everyone,” said Pao Peña, chief digital officer of Leo Burnett and one of the organizers of Open Mic Night. “Our cross-section of speakers proved that.”
